Something has begun in Miami.

This past weekend, we gathered around tables.

We shared food.

We met new people.

We opened the Word.

We asked honest questions.

And what started as a calendar of events began becoming something much more important:

Community.

That's the heart behind Renaissance Month.

Not simply getting people into a room.

Not building another event series.

Not filling a calendar.

We're creating space for people to encounter God, build genuine relationships, wrestle with meaningful questions, and discover what it looks like to become part of a healthy, Spirit-filled, Bible-centered community.

And we're only getting started.

If you missed the opening weekend, you haven't missed Renaissance Month.

There are still several opportunities throughout August to step into the journey.

And whether you've followed Jesus for decades, you're searching for a church community, or you're simply curious about faith, there is a place for you here.

When we read about the early Church, something stands out.

Their faith wasn't confined to a weekly service.

They learned together.

They ate together.

They prayed together.

They built relationships.

They encountered God together.

The strength of the early Church wasn't simply what happened from a platform.

It was what God was building between people.

That's something our generation desperately needs again.

We have never been more connected technologically.

And yet genuine community can still feel remarkably difficult to find.

Followers.

Contacts.

Networks.

Audiences.

Group chats.

We have countless ways to communicate.

But communication isn't the same as community.

Kingdom community requires something more.

Presence.

This matters especially for entrepreneurs, professionals, investors, and leaders.

Our culture celebrates independence.

Build yourself.

Make your own way.

Become self-sufficient.

But the Kingdom has never operated that way.

God builds through people.

Moses needed Aaron and Hur.

David had Jonathan.

Paul had Barnabas, Silas, Timothy, and entire communities of believers surrounding the mission.

Even Jesus, who needed nothing from anyone, intentionally gathered people around Him.

There is something God does in us through relationships that cannot happen in isolation.

People sharpen us.

Encourage us.

Challenge us.

See things in us that we cannot see ourselves.

Pray with us when our own faith feels weak.

Celebrate what God is doing when breakthrough comes.

That's why Renaissance Month isn't simply about attending something.

It's about stepping into something.

The remaining gatherings aren't disconnected events.

They're intentionally different expressions of one journey—faith, friendship, spiritual growth, and ultimately encountering God.

Here's what's ahead.

This Sunday, we'll gather again for an honest conversation centered on Scripture, practical truth, and the questions people are actually asking.

This isn't designed only for people who already have everything figured out spiritually.

Quite the opposite.

Bring your questions.

Bring your curiosity.

Bring the areas of faith you're still wrestling through.

Whether you've followed Jesus for years or you're simply exploring Christianity, the goal is to create space where you can encounter biblical truth without pretending.

Honest questions. Practical truth. Space to explore.

Come ready for conversation.

Come ready for the Word.

Come ready to grow.

Some relationships begin in a church service.

Others begin simply because two people finally had time to talk.

That's what this night is about.

The Renaissance Social is intentionally designed around community—meeting great people, building new friendships, and experiencing the culture of Renaissance beyond a Sunday gathering.

No pressure.

No pretending.

Just people spending time together and building genuine relationships.

If you've been looking for Christian community in Miami, this is a night I especially encourage you not to miss.

And if you're thinking:

"I don't know anybody."

That's precisely why you should come.

Every community starts with strangers willing to become friends.

We'll come back together the following Sunday to continue the journey.

Again, we'll open Scripture, ask honest questions, pray, and explore biblical truth that speaks into everyday life.

One of the things I appreciate about these gatherings is that you don't have to perform spirituality.

You can come where you are.

There is room to learn.

Room to ask.

Room to grow.

Room to encounter Jesus.

Spiritual formation isn't a single moment.

It's a journey.

And we're building an environment where people can take that journey together.

We'll conclude Renaissance Month with the Renaissance Gathering featuring Maksim Asenov and Tim Storey.

This won't simply be another church service.

It's designed as a Renaissance experience—a culmination of everything God has been building throughout the month.

Expect inspiring conversations.

Powerful worship.

Authentic community.

And, most importantly, space to encounter God.

Whether you've attended every gathering or August 30 is your first time walking through the doors, you're welcome.

Come expectant.

Bring someone with you.

And make room for God to speak into the season ahead.

Here's my challenge for you.

Don't approach Renaissance Month like another event.

You can attend something without allowing it to affect you.

Instead, arrive intentionally.

Before you walk through the doors, pray:

"God, what do You want to show me today?"

Then be present.

Introduce yourself to someone.

Ask a meaningful question.

Listen carefully.

Participate in worship.

Open your heart to Scripture.

Stay long enough to have the conversation.

Sometimes the encounter we're asking God for begins with our willingness to become available.

Choose at least one remaining Renaissance gathering and put it on your calendar today.

Not "I'll see how the week goes."

Decide.

Then invite one person to come with you.

Someone searching for community.

Someone asking questions about faith.

Someone in a transition season.

Someone who simply shouldn't be walking through life alone.

Your invitation may become part of someone else's story.

Say this out loud today:

I will not isolate myself from the community God has called me into.

I will make room for His presence, His Word, and His people.

I will remain open, expectant, and willing to become part of what God is building in this season.

The opening weekend may have passed.

But the journey is just getting started.
